I was recently asked to put together some promotional shots for Solihull Theatre Company's production of Young Frankestein. I'll be honest, as a fan of Mel Brookes, the Film and knowing that Solihull Theatre Company would do this justice, I'd have fought any other photographer lined up for this. I'd have fought dirty.
So I packed some lighting, some camera gear and met up at a horror themed bar in Birmingham to take a few pictures.
The make up artist deserves a medal for this. Each actor brought their character to life in front of my lens. And each member of the supporting crew were full of ideas making this one of the easiest shoots I've ever taken. It almost felt like cheating.
I'm looking forward to taking my seat at the show, I suggest you get your ticket before it's too late!
