I've always had a bit of a fascination with long exposures. Above are a set of images that I've taken with a shutter speed of 2 minutes or above.
I like the technical challenge of getting the exposure smack on. I like the additional challenge that neutral density filters bring to the image capture. I like how choppy water can become glass like or milky when shot with a long exposure. I like how the clouds appear to streak across the top of the image.
Not all photographers are keen on them, but I like them.
Here's a challenge for you. There are a couple of images in the above gallery that are long and short exposures "stitched" together. See if you can work out which ones.
One of the images is actually 5 images, each with a 2 minute exposure that I've stitched together as a panorama. Go on, which one is it?
